How to Help

Scientific meetings are an important forum for researchers to exchange new ideas, present current research results, share new methods, develop new contacts, and meet potential collaborators. These forums are a necessary part of the scientific process and can also help bridge the growing gap between the public and scientists.  Scientific meetings and conferences are usually attended not just by scientists, but by students and the media as well. Conference fees, presentation materials (such as posters), and travel expenses are very limiting for the average scientist.


The following list of meetings are important venues for the dissemination of our results, ideas and outreach at the Carl Sagan Center.
